Summer Fun and waiting for our surprise!

Summer has come and gone so fast! We have had a very busy summer with lots of fun. We started our summer with a trip to Disneyland with the Anderson Family in June. July we Went to washingtong with the Parker Family. We also took lots of little trips to st. George, Moab, and other little fun places!
At the Beginning of August I took Ultimate Dance to a Dance Camp in Idaho and brought home many individual awards as well as "Overall Best Team" for the 2nd year in a row. I was so proud!
This summer Graydin played his first team sport, T-Ball. He is a very competitive boy and a ball hog. He has a very good arm for a 3 yr old and to spice things up he would slide into home.
Rich has Taken up running this summer and has ran a few 5k's as well as a 10k. He will be running a half marathon in November!
Trev is practicing his basketball shots on our new hoop so that he can be like Jimmer he says. He is also very excited to start 1st grade next week!
The biggest thing this summer was watching me get huge like a whale in preparation for our new little girl! I started dialating at 32 weeks and have not changed since. I am now just over 36 weeks and hoping there is progression at the next Dr. Appt. It is crazy to think within the next few weeks I will have a little girl. We are all so excited. The anticipiation is killing me!

I can't believe How bad I am at updating my blog! Life is so busy that it just flies by so fast.

The boys are growing so fast and are so much fun! Trevin had his 6th Birthday in January! He is loving Kindergarten and doing so well at school. Graydin Started Pre-school in January and wasnt sure of it at first but seems to be enjoying it now. They are such a help and bring such a great spirit into our home. They both love to play the Iphone and I am amazed how well they play all the games on it. I can't even understand most of them!

Rich has been traveling a lot with his job which stinks. But the times he is home he is 110% Dad and husband. I don't know how I got so lucky. I never knew that after 12 years of marriage it could still feel like when you first met or better!

I am super busy at the studio right now since it is Competition Time. We have 2 more competitions left and 6 weeks of dance left before we go to summer break!

Rich and I have been trying to add to our little family for quite some time. We are happy to finally announce that I am now 18 weeks along!!! Rich and the boys really wanted another boy so that they could name him Jimmer! But to their dissapointment and to my Excitement I am so Happy to announce that I finally get my little GIRL!!!!!! Yes thats right we are having a Girl! My little dancer. I really was prepared for 3 boys but I am over excited for a sweet girl to come into our family so that it will be 3 against 2!

I cannot believe I have not updated this blog since January! We have had such a busy 11 months and I will try to catch up on our lives a little bit....

February-May: 2010 Dance Competition season was amazing! Ultimate Dance placed well at every competition, I couldn't be prouder! At Nationals we took 42 Number and came home with 42 1st places along with 6 overall High Points, 2 Overall Best Dance studio and Director of the Year! Again!

May: We took a fun little trip to California. We spent 2 days at Lego Land 1 day at the Beach and 1 Day at Disneyland! We met up with our good friends the Woottons at Disneyland and had such a great time! The boys are at such a fun age and we enjoyed every minute of it.

June: Rich and I took a little trip to the east coast. We flew to Boston attended the red Sox game with a tour of Fenway Park. We then took the train to New York and stayed on Broadway where we attended the musical "Promises, Promises". Kristen Chenowyth is amazing!! We then took the Mega bus for $1 to Philly where we ended our trip with a phillies game! I just love going on trips and spending time with Rich we had so much fun! Thanks to the inlaws for watching the boys!

July-November: This summer I have taken up a new hobby.... Running! I wasn't happy with how my body was looking and I was frustrated from trying to have another baby without sucess. So I decided to do something to make me feel better. I started walking with a really good friend and then as time went by we started to run a little. For those who know me well you know that I love competition. So we decided to start challenging ourselves in doing a 5k. After doing three 5k's we decided to push ourselves a little more and do a 10K. After doing the 10K I saw that there was a 1/2 marathon in St.George on my birthday in Novemeber. I figured I wasnt getting any younger so why not?! My Friend and I trained ourselves for a few weeks and on my 32nd Birthday I ran My first 1/2 Marathon in 1 hour and 55 minutes!! It was such an accomplishment and it was fun to share it with my Mother and sister in laws, Rich and the boys and one of my Best buds Karen. The boys also ran a race 200M it was so cute! I was the most sore I have ever been in my whole life, it took a week to recover and I only lost 1 toe nail! I was so exhausted after running 13.1 miles as you can see by the pic.

August: Rich had his 34th Birthday while I was at a Dance Camp in Idaho. My Studio won best overall Team! What a supportive husband to let me go away over his birthday!

September: Our little sweet Graydin turned the big 3!!! He is so much fun and is a huge part of our family!

October: Rich's Work treated us to st. Petersburg Florida for 3 days! He won MR of the year for the 3rd year in a row! We had such a great time at the Awards banquet as well as a day in universal studios. I am so proud of Rich for all of his hard work and for all that he does for our family!

Also in October, We moved into our new house! We sold our home in September and moved into our newly built home 1 1/2 miles south. We love it. We got our new yard in right away along with shutters and thats about it. We are not decorators so it is taking a while to get stuff up on the wall!

We are now on our way into the holiday's which I always love. I really hope it wont take me another 11 months to update my blog. I do have to say that I feel very blessed with all I have and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful supportive husband and kids. I am also very blessed with great in-laws as well as my own family. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends that encourage me to be great and push me when I want to give up!

My computer is having a hard time uploading pics so I will get more up as soon as possible!

5 Years ago today I recieved the best gift a woman could have, I became a mom! My dear Trev was born on January 22nd 2005 @ 6lbs 2oz. I remember it like it was yesterday! Trev is the best son a person could ask for. He is so sweet, cute, and caring. If I was promised to have other kids exactly like trevin I would have 10 kids.

We asked Trevin what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said he wanted to go to a hotel with his friends (cousins). So Rich booked the holiday Inn in westvalley. It has a little water park inside with a kiddie pool with sprinklers and slides, basketball hoops, and a huge twisty slide. His Grandpa, uncles and boy cousins that are his same age on the Anderson side met him there for swimming, Pizza, Cake and a sleepover. Mom and Graydin got to go for cake but left the boys to have fun!

Wow it has been a while since I last posted but between the dance studio, My boys, an I have to admit farming on facebook, I dont really have much time to spare.
It has been a very long week and since only my good friends read my blog, I thought I would write about it and try to get it off my mind.

About September Rich started feeling numb in his left leg. Not sure what it was maybe thinking it was a pinched nerve and it not hurting, he decided he would wait til the new year and get it checked.(Because we have crappy insurance). Well The day before Thanksgiving his numbness started in his right leg and was a little more uncomfortable. Rich decided that he would go get it checked. The Dr. said that he wouldnt worry about it and to come back if it gets worse. By Thanksgiving Day Rich was numb from his chest down and very uncomfortable. Monday he went back to the Dr. The idiotic Dr. Responded by saying what do you want me to do? He took xrays and blood work and the Xrays came back with no pinched nerve. While in the Dr.s office my brother in-law called rich and said he could get into a specialist and he immediately left. At the Specialists office he took anothe set of x-rays and said he didnt have a pinched nerve but that this was not normal. The specialist ordered up MRI's, more blood work and another visit on wednesday. After 5 hours of MRI's, lots of blood work and a whole day of dr. visits, The Specialist told us that Rich either had cancer on the spinal chord or MS. The next day we met with the Neuroligist and she comfirmed that Rich has Aggressive MS. We have spent the whole week at different appt's and tests and are trying to get over the initial shock that this has happened to our family.
It's kind of weird that Bad thing happen to other people but you think that will never happen to you! We still don't know what is going to happen or how fast but we know things will more than likely be different.
I Have been really thinking about this all and the one thing that comforts me is that I know my Heavenly father loves me and that Families are Forever.
We have had a very blessed life with very few trials, an amazing marriage and two beautiful children. We have had the opportunity to do more things in our 11 yrs of marriage then most people do their whole lives. I know if anyone can fight against this disease, Rich can. I know it is not cureable but we are not going to let it take over our lives. I am still looking forward to growing OLD with my Prince Charming.
Rich is now on steroids for 5 days through and IV. He will have to give himself shots about every day for the rest of his life. We are praying he gets some feeling back in his body so that he can be comfortable and work and live like normal again.
I am so grateful for our family and friends who have helped us out so much this week!
Don't take anything for Granted because life can change so fast!

I can't believe my baby is 2! Graydin has brought so much joy into our lives! He is my little 2 yr old going on 10. He is such a playful, smart and loving boy. On sunday we were at the inlaws for dinner and during the prayer he kept peeking whispering:"Mommy I love you". How do you get mad at that! He loves his big brother so much and tries to be just like him!

We love you so Much Graydin! Happy Birthday!

This is Rich and Mistys, July 2009 Summer. (Richs Version)

Misty took her dance studio to perform at Stadium of Fire over the 4th of July weekend. I on the other hand took the kids and went camping with my brothers and dad. It was an awesome experience to spend 3 full days camping, with the kids. Trevin was able to throw a line in fishing. I don't enjoy fishing, so Grandpa helped him, while I sat on my can and took a few pictures. Trev and Grayd enjoyed playing with all thier cousins up in the mountains.

The week after the 4th of July we went up to Yellowstone for 4 days. We met some friends up there. I think my favorite part of yellowstone is the Canyon area. Thier always seems to be wildlife in the area, and the waterfalls are amazing. Trevin loved to take our digital camera and take pictures. Remarkably most of the pictures he took turned out pretty good, including the one here with Misty and I.

The last week of July, I went on a baseball trip with my Brothers and two of my Brother in laws. Misty went with the kids to Washington State to visit with her mom. Misty Flew up to Seattle and then drove back with her mom. I on the other hand have been planning this baseball trip for over a year now. The 6 of us that went all have a love for the game of baseball. We went to the Rockies, Royals, Cardinals, Cubs, White Sox, and Brewers. We then finished off the trip playing a little ball and visiting the site of the Field of Dreams. I met the man that owns the property and he sat down with me and described the whole experience of the Field of Dreams. There were probably 100 people at the field when we got there, which is amazing to me. "if you build it they will come" And they still come to this day. The old man told me he gets visitors daily from The east coast, west coast, Europe. There were roughly 50 baseballs, and 5 bats there for us to use. I love the movie, so it was an awesome experience for us to be able to visit it.

I really like to get out and see different places, and I am lucky to have a wife that enjoys the same types of activities. Two awesome kids, and a beautiful wife, what more could a guy ask for?

My studio had the wonderful opportunity of performing at the Stadium of fire! It was a lot of hard work and a few really long days in the hot sun , but in the end it was all worth it! It was an amazing experience for me to see my girls out there being so professional! I really am blessed to have such a great job! My sister Candice was there too and I couldnt have done it without the help of her and my many great parents! Here are a few pics!

I just had to post this one because it was so cute!

Today is Mothers day and I feel like a very proud Mom of a 127 girls and 2 boys! We had a very busy last couple of days. My dance studio competed at one of the

worlds largest dance Competitions! Open Dance Nationals Grand Championships at Lagoon! You can sit there at think about how good your teams will do and it can literally make you sick. We have worked so hard this year and the I really think that our teams are great but I am a little biased! Or am I?? My sister Candice and I took 24 team dances and 7 solo, duet, and Trios. Well How did we do? 18 1st places, 5 2nd places and 1 3rd place for teams and 5 1st places and 2 2nd places for solos, duets, and trios! ahhhh! We also Swept the competition with overalls! out of 101 teams they gave the top 10 overall high score awards! Ultimate Dance won 6 out of 10 of the top high scores! We also won sweepstakes for best overall dance studio in Novice and beginning levels! Also, One of our soloist won overall High point queen! To top off this awesome day I was also honored with "Director of the year" out of over 100 directors! My sister Candice also took her Drill team to compete and they won 2 1st places and 1 2nd place! What really made the day the best ever was to see My handsome husband and 2 very cute boys there to support me! Thanks to everyone who was a part of my wonderful experience yesterday and to the Team moms. Also, Huge thanks to my sister Candice for all her help because I couldnt do it without you! Also, I have the best husband and kids in the whole world for always supporting me in what I love!!!

As most of you may know Richard and I are both very into competitive sports. We have been waiting 4 years to finally be able to put Trevin into sports! Our worst fear is that he would cry and not want to play sports at all. Thank goodness that didn't happen! He loves it. He isnt the fastest little runner but hey at least he can hit the ball off the T. This is his first year in T ball and Rich is coaching his team! I can't Wait to be a so called "soccer Mom" (not necessarily soccer though, I prefer baseball and basketball).

Spring Break!

For Spring Break this year it was little work and all play! We took our Dance Studio to Disneyland to perform! It was a lot of fun and they did such a great job! We only had 57 performers that were able to go, but they put on one heck of a show! Of course after a few hours of work it was all play! Trevin Was just about 39 1/2 inches so we had to stuff his shoes a little bit so that he could go on all the big rides! Of course one of the first rides Rich took him on was Tower of Terror! He said he doesnt really want to go on that one again, he claims the lightning was a little scary. Here are some random pics from Disneyland.

Easter!

We took the boys to an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Trevin was so excited and Graydin really could care less. Rich told Trevin to run to the middle and make sure to grap lots of Red vines. So of course Trev ran to the middle and only picked up Red vines one by one. When he got back Rich asked Trevin why he didnt get other candy as well and he said. I got all the red vines for you daddy! So Sweet!

Weekend of Really High's and Really Low!

This weekend I have been so overly Happy and I have been really sad as well!

It all began on Friday. Friday we had a solo Competitions at Spanish fork High school. My studio took 18 solos, duets, and Trios. All of My dancers took 1st or 2nd place and 1 3rd! Two of my dancers(one being my niece) won Overall high point in Mini, and Junior divisions. This is the highest score out of the whole competition. The Overall High Point Queen wins a 3ft. Trophy, a 6ft Trophy a Tiara, and a sash, so we were way excited!

The Next Day we had our Teams competition. All of my dancers danced their hearts out. I was so proud of them! We ended up with mostly 1st and 2nd places. We also took home Mini Overall Grand champs, Junior 2nd place overall Champs, and Teen 2nd Place overall Champs, and Mini overall High Point award.(Winning a 6 fot Trophy!). Very Fun! My sister Candice took her Drill Team from Rockwell to the competition as well. They couldnt compete with the UHSAA because it was their first year. They took all 1st places and Teen Overall Grand Champions! It was exciting for both of us to be doing so well(not to mention my teams are hers as well and I couldnt do it without her!) What a Day!

Sunday My husband tells me that a member of the Bishopbric was coming to meet with me. Come to find out I have been Released from Young Womens :( I was very saddened by this news and this was the low of my weekend. I am going to miss this calling and the girls Terribly.

I guess they take after me!

so This competition that we compete at sent us a DVD of a guy dancing and they want our dancers to learn the dance and pay 5 bucks and compete the dance at the competition. Well I gave the DVD to Trevin and he decided to put it in my computer and try to learn it himself I recorded him watching the DVD and trying to do the dance! Please dont mind Graydin picking his nose at the beginning!(that part he must get from his dad! jk) Graydin also thought he would take a stab at it!

My Little Boy is Growing Up!

Trevin has had quite the month and I have come to realize that .....My little boy is growing up. Rich, Trevin, and their friends Braiden and Marc Smith went on a little overnighter trip to Moab. They enjoyed staying in the hotel and going on little hikes! Of course Trevin was so excited about the little trip that he made himself sick(he does this alot, whenever there is a big occasion for him).

In the beginning of March my sister had her long awaited adoption of her kids. The day after we got to witness the special sealing of her kids. Trevin and Graydin of course had to wait in the waiting room wich brought a lot of questions about temples to Trevin. (Doesnt he look cute in his little suit!) Dad and Trev took time to pose for pics at the temple. The above pic is Trevin and his 3 month older cousin Makaylee aren't they cute. soooooooooooooooo............

Anyway, because of the so many question that Trevin had about the temple (I think he gets the 100 question thing from his dad and grandpa) Rich and I decided to take him to the temple open house. We started at the church house where he asked questions all through the info movie, then we rode the bus to the temple, and walked through the temple and answered more of trevins questions and then ended in another church house for trevins favorite cookies and pictures. Trevin was so reverent. I have never seen a 4 yr old so interested in that kind of stuff he is going to be one good missionary someday. The cutest thing was when we walked into the babtismal room he saw the font and said "Look mom, they have a hot tub too".

It's Competition Time!!!

Well Competition season has officially started! We had our first competition on Friday and Saturday and let me tell you I lost sleep over the anticipation of it. This year was the biggest Dance competition that Thanksgiving point has ever had. It was 3 days long with over 35 different dance studios. I was pretty scared to go because I knew we were going to be dancing against some of Utahs most recognized dance studios. The reason I was scared is because I knew the dance teams that we would be competing against take dance anywhere from 4 to 17 hours a week and My teams only dance from 1 to 3 hours a week. Friday Night we had 13 solos, duets, and trios compete. We left the night with 10 1st place queens and 3 2nd places! I thought wow that is awesome! On Saturday we went to compete teams. I took 127 dancers to the competition. We competed 24 team dances. I was very happy to take home 13 1st place ribbons and 11 2nd place ribbons.
The highlights of the day is when they announced the overall winners! They give the top 4 scores in each level throughout the whole day a Trophy and The top 3 Overall best studios a Trophy. In The novice level there were 63 teams and in Beginning there were 70 Teams. To my surprise my little 6 yr olds won Overall high points in the Novice level and then my 7&8yr old team won Overall High points in the Beginning Level. My sister Candice's team also won one of the Overall High points in the Beginning level. I was so thrilled! Then.....We also Won overall best studio in both the Novice and Beginning levels!!
I am still on cloud nine and I can't wait for our next competition at the end of the month!

Also, Thanks to my sis Candice because I could not do this without you!! And My sweet husband for supporting me in doing what I love!!! I love all of my dancers so much you are the best!

So my dance studio is going to the happiest place on earth to perform in April! Yes, Disneyland. I hate driving to Anaheim in 1 day so it is kind of a family tradition to drive the First day to Primm and stay the night and then the next day drive to Cali and go to the beach and then end up in Anaheim. Anyway, Rich found rooms at Buffalo Bills for $5/ night. NO it is not a typo five bucks! I have been on cloud 9 knowing that I got just an awesome deal. UNTIL today, I looked up hotels.com and found the sam rooms for $3.73 can you believe it! Oh My Gosh!

Ultimate Dance Etc. Performance

One of my 12 competition teams performed last night at the Rockwell High School basketball halftime, and would you believe I actually remembered my camera! This is my Diamonds Team! There are 12 girls that are 6, 7, and 8 years old and I just love them to death. This was their first performance of the year. The footage below is them practicing out in foyer. Their Performance was even twice as good as their practice! My stars team performed last month and they were awesome as well. (forgot my camera then:( ).

I cant wait for our first competition!!!

A Bunch of Random Stuff!

I haven't been very good at updating my blog lately. There are a couple reasons why: 1. It is very close to competition season and I am seriously addicted to competition websites and finding every possible way to make my teams the best they can be! I have also been choreographing and teaching 16 solo, duets, and trios for competition besides the 24 team dance we are taking to compete!
2. Facebook takes way too much time!

Sooo, Here is a few random photos of Trevins birthday party and some other stuff!

Trevin got a party hat from Pre-school. Then we had a party with a few of his 4yr old friends from school, church, the dance studio, and cousins! I think Graydin actually had a funner time than Trevin, He thinks he is 4 anyway!

The next day Trevin fell off the stool in the kitchen while eating breakfast and chipped his front tooth. (sorry no pic). Then a few days later I was carrying Graydin down the stairs to the basement to play and I slipped and we both fell down the stairs. Graydin Bonked his head. I felt so bad, thank goodness for good neighbors to make sure he didnt have a concusion!(sorry not sure if that is spelled right).

On January 22nd Four years ago, Rich and My lives changed drastically for the good. We became Parents. After 6 years of us only worrying about eachother and ourselves, Trevin came into our lives! He was born at 4:20 PM 6lbs 2oz with a head full of beautiful black hair. We were so happy! His name was supposed to be Alex, but as much as we loved the name I had quite a few girls in my dance classes named Alex and we just couldn't get past that. Trevin has seriously been such an angel his whole life. He is always thinking about others and is so nice. We very rarely have to get after him and when we do it is very tramatic for him. He never wants to hurt anyones feelings. When he was a baby he rarely cried, slept all the time, Never put anything in his mouth and never climbed on things or got into anything! We did not realize why people thought kids were so hard because Trevin was so easy. We did not know that this was not normal! (Don't worry we now know what a normal baby is like with Graydin). Trevin is such a big help and will do anything we ask of him. Last week I was holding a plate of lasagna and eating it. Trevin came over and said," Here mom let me hold your plate for you while you eat" I said, "NO thanks Trev it's ok". He then said,"No mom really I will hold it for you" He than grabbed the plate and held it up for me while I ate my lasagna. Tell me that isnt so sweet! We are so greatful for our little Trevin and hope he stays like this forever! Happy Birthday Trev!

Rich and I just got back from a wonderful, relaxing trip from Miami. It was short and much needed. Rich's company flew us to Miami for the Weekend for an Awards banquet. Rich won two very prestigous awards: Membership rep of the Year and Trainer of the year! This was throughout the whole Nielsen company. Way to go Rich! Anyway, They put us up in a 5 star hotel right in Miami beach on the Bay. It just opened up in November and was over $350/per night. ugh!

So Here is my question would you prefer a 5 Star Hotel like the Mondorian that we stayed in or a 3 Star hotel like the Holiday Inn?? Here is my Debate!(By the way I am not complaining, how could I it was free!)

Both have great pools and nice decor....uhhh except the mondorian has chandelairs in the shower and the water comes out of it AND THERE IS A CREEPY GIRL PAINTED ON THE WALL LOOKING STRAIGHT AT THE BED WITH HUGE EYES!

Anyway, Rich an I had a great time and Neilsen paid for everything including the $29/ shampoo, food, The gator farm(awesome), The boat/land tour of miami, The magic show, the parking, and the car rental. It was a lot of fun! Not to metion it was even better because we got to celebrate our 10 year anniversary while we were there! Thanks to Eileen and Jen for watching the boys!

What were you doing 10 years ago? I was barely 20 and getting married. Rich and I will be married 10yrs next week. I decided to do a post today because next week will be crazy and we will be leaving on a trip to Florida.

Did you ever try to imagine when you were a little girl what you would want your life to be like when you grew up? My life is exactly how I wished it would be. I am married to the man of my dreams have 2 beautiful children, live in a beautiful neighborhood, and own a successful dance studio. I feel like the luckiest person in the world.

I met Rich in my first year down at Snow College. My Roommates talked me into going to an institute dance, which I was hesitant because I was in a relationship. Rich asked me to dance and then later that night him and his friend asked me and my roommates to hike up to the water towers with them. After getting to know Rich I realized he was everything I wanted in a husband.

Rich has been such a wonderful husband and Dad. He is my best friend and the love of my life. He is the Mr. Mom along as Dad to my kids. I dont know very many fathers that spend as much or more time with kids than their wives do and feed them and bathe them every day as well as holds down a full time job! He is extremely supportive with my dreams and in all I do. I definitely got the better end of the end of the deal!

I never thought I could love him more than I did the day that we got married but my love for him grows more and more every day. Thanks for the best 10 yrs and I look forward to at least another 60! I love you Rich!!!

Christmas at the Andersons!

We Started our Christmas Celebration on Dec. 13th with the Parkers for a family Party at Golden Corral ( sorry no pics forgot the camera). We had dinner and Grandma and Grandpa gave the grandkids all new shoes. It was really neat this year to have all 9 of us kids there and our families. We very seldom have all of my brother and sisters at the same place at the same time.
Then, on Dec 23rd we headed to Ephraim for the Anderson Family Christmas Party. Trevin and Graydin Loved sledding behind the 4 wheeler.

Then We had Dinner, Talent Show, songs, more songs, and then the Nativity Scene, and more songs. Trevin was a shepard with his cousins Dylan and Ellie and Damon(the angel) slipped in for a pic.

Finally, They got presents from Grandma and Grandpa. They all got cars pajamas and turtle nightlights. Trev and Graydin have a lot of boy cousins and here are just the ones born between Nov. 04 to July 07. Graydin was a sleep at this point since it was about 10 at night. Isnt this such a cute bunch. Trevin had a great time with his cousins they all played past 1 am.

Graydin is so funny! He was a little cranky on the ride home so I gave him a candy cane that his Aunt Jen gave him. He was a mess and loved it. Rich was about ready to have a heart attack.

Here is Christmas Morning after Santa Came. This Video is a so cute. It is a little hard to see but trev is so cute. we went to get a drink cuz he woke up and he wanted to see if santa had come. This is about 6:30 in the morning.

Our Christmas letter to you!

Unfortunately, I am not the creative, on the ball, most organized person I would really like to be. We did take some pictures to put on a christmas card to send to all of our friends and family. But, of course we are days away from christmas and we have not got them out or even made. So, here is what we have done all year and this is our christmas card to you!

Graydin turned one in September. He is a very busy boy and loves to get into everything. He seems so old to us and is growing so big. He seems way ahead of Trevin when Trevin was his age. He keeps us crazy busy and makes us laugh! He is not afraid of anything!

Trevin will be four next month. He is such a nice sweet boy and never wants to make anyone mad or sad. He is a big help with his little brother and will do anything you ask of him. He is loving preschool and Tumbling. He has learned all of his letters, numbers to 10 and his phone number. He has learned how to spell his name, mom, and dad. He will be starting Basketball in January!

Rich has been busy being Mr. Mom and is at his 5th year working for Nielsen TV Rating. His company sent us to Florida in October for his 5 year award banquet. He is doing really well at his job always ranking 1st or 2nd in the nation and he has won a few prestigeous award this year. Including, Trainer of the year and Recruiter of the year in which Nielson is sending us again to Florida in January for an awards banquet (this is right around our 10 yr wedding anniversary) all expenses paid! He enjoyed playing for a couple of softball leagues this year and is always taking the boys places.

I (Misty) Have been busy being a mom and with my Dance Studio, Ultimate Dance Etc. We built a brand new building a little over a year ago and luckily business is doing good! We did really good this year at competition winning 15 overall awards at 4 different competitions including Overall High Point, twice. I may only have 2 boys of my own but I feel like I have many more adopted girls. I love my Job!

We have been very blessed this year enjoying lots of different vacations to Disneyland, Disneyworld, Clearwater Florida, Washington, Jackson Hole and a Cruise to Cozumel Mexico. We love being in Saratoga Springs and love the people here that surround us. We are very greatful for our many blessings and we pray for another great year and hope you have one too!

Polar Express!

On Tuesday We went to the Heber Valley Railroad and took a trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express! Trevin was so excited! He loves train and he was so excited to see Santa! The elves fed us Hot Cocoa and Cookies and we sang christmas carols then the Story teller told the story of the Polar Express and We Picked up Santa! Thanksgiving!

This year for Thanksgiving all of the Anderson's went up to Jackson Hole Wyoming! Rich's Sister and their family live in the mountains above Jackson Hole on a Dude Ranch. It was so much fun! We started our adventure by way of Idaho Falls. In Idaho Falls there is a nice park with waterfalls and tons of ducks and geese. The boys loved it! That is until the duck got Graydin's finger while he was feeding it bread.

We then ended up at Jodi and Brians house at the Ranch. It is so beautiful there. We stayed in cabins on the property that they live on. Trevin and Graydin loved playing with all of their cousins. They rode in a horse carriage, slid on a frozen lake and played, played, played!

Froggy Heaven

Yesterday one of Trevins Frogs died. In May Trevin got 2 frogs from the Scandanavian Festival in Ephraim. He named them Carson and Luke (same name as his cousins). Well I found one of them upside down in the water yesterday. I am actually surprised they have lived this long because, well lets just say we arent really the best pet caretakers. I told Trev one of his frogs had died and he started to cry. I told him that he went to Heaven to live with heavenly Father and Jesus. It made him feel a little better. We had a little funeral for him and he was ok til I flushed him down the toilet. He started crying and said why did you have to do that mom that was not nice. I had to remind him of nemo and how all water ends up in the ocean. I told him that his family would bury him. It was so cute how Trev was so sensitive about it and how he felt bad for the frog that was still alive because he was sad! If you are all wondering Luke was the froggy that died.

This is so funny! On sunday Rich and Graydin subbed in Trevins nursery class. Our friend, the singing director gave Trevin and Graydin a sticker that said "I'm trying to be like Jesus." Well, Trevin decided to put Graydins sticker on Graydins fore head and put his own on his bare chest. When they got home from church I tried to pull the sticker off. It wouldnt budge it just pulled his skin. So throughout the day I would pull a little to try to get it off, still no give. Trevin was determined to get his off so he pulled real hard and his sticker came off of his chest leaving a big red mark! He said" Mom is it bleeding" with a painful look on his face. So, I decided to leave graydins on his head until he had his morning bath. In the morning we scrubbed his head. As you can see (bottom picture) The color came off but not the sticker. Those are some high quality stickers! I have been putting Mary kay makeup remover on it and it is mostly off now but there is still just a little bit stuck to his head.(This is after a few baths)

Fall Boutique Saturday November 15th

There will be lots of different vendors. Scentsy, Bumble Watches, Sole Desire Shoes, Jewlery, Baby bling, Iron rod picture hangers, Home made candy, and cookie dough just to name a few. I will also be selling dance costumes, leotards, and other dance attire, and dance shoes at wholesale or discounted prices! We will also have a Grand prize drawing basket that will have a little of everything including 2 free months of dance or tumbling lessons! Just come and check it out and put your name in the drawing.

Graydins 1st hair cut!

Today I got Trevin and Graydins hair cut! I thought it was about time since Trevins 4 calics (sorry dont know how to spell) were sticking straight up and Graydin had never had a hair cut. I will be honest I could have easy gone a while longer on Graydin. I just loved his flowy long blonde hair, but lets be honest I am the mom. Trevin by this time had already had his hair cut 7 times. Graydins hair was always sticking straight up and I would hate for him to be the kid that everyone is saying under their breathe "Geez that boy needs a haircut". He was so good through most of it and now he looks like a little man! The top picture is after and the bottom picture is before.

I can't help but feel a little sad tonight. Here are a few reasons:
1. I have never had a candidate lose a major election that I have voted for! This was my 3rd time voting for president and my first loss. I was one day shy of being of age to vote in 1996. For any one who knows me I HATE to lose and I am really taking it personal for some reason.
2. I am really having a hard time knowing that I will soon be 30. Yikes! (No offense to anyone older) I have been thinking about it and if I do by chance have any more kids. I will be older than my parents were sitting at my graduation. (I am 3rd to youngest in a family of 8 girls and 1 boy ).I still think I am 22 sometimes, maybe because I only have 2 very young children or because I work with young people all the time. I get really scared to think of what I am going to look like when I get gray and wrinkly.
3. I got Graydins beautiful blonde flowy hair cut. I really loved his hair. I thought it was so cute sticking up all over the place and it was just so soft. But, I know I only thought those things because he is my little guy and it just fit his personality. I am sure nobody else thought it was as cute as I did.
Well at least I do have many other things to be happy about: Great husband and kids, great family, great friends, awesome job a house to live in and food to eat, and hopefully many more years to come! We are lucky to live where we do and be who we are! Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Have a great day!

Graydin is Walking!!!

Graydin is full on walking! He has taken a few steps here and there for about a month now, but just the last few days he has actually been walking more than crawling. I think he liked crawling because he could get from place to place a lot faster. I know a lot of you may think this is late but Trevin didnt take his first steps til he was 15 months. So, Graydin walking at 13 months is very significant to us!

On Wednesday, Trevins preschool went to pumpkin land here are a few of his classmates and friends!

On Friday, Rich and Trevin went to Idaho for some work Rich had to do. Trevin loves to stay in Hotels and acts like he owns the place when he is there. He loves having his own bed and own TV. He thinks he is a stud. While they were out they went to a pumpkin patch as well!

Every time they stop for gas Trevin just has to get out of the car and help dad!

On Saturday, We went to my sisters house in Hooper and decorated cookies and then the kids got dressed up and we went to boo at the Zoo. Believe me it was literally a Zoo of People! This is a picture of Trevin with my 92 year old Grandma, she is so sweet and was probably just thinking...Oh dear why does he have long hair! I think I would have really cute girls!

On Sunday we only had 1 hour of church since our ward split. So we went to temple square and walked around!

This is Rich and Graydin this summer in the swimming pool at the hotel we stayed at when we went to Disneyland! I call Rich Mr. Mom, because he takes on all of the responsiblities that a father and husband should have as well as most of the responsibilities a mother has. Since I teach and manage our dance studio, I dont even get home until 9:30 or so some nights . When I get home Rich has both kids fed, and put to bed by the time I get home. He never complains about having to take care of them so much and is extremely supportive in helping me fulfill one of my dreams of having a dance studio. I am so lucky to have Rich as my husband because I dont think there is anyone out there that would do and put up with the things that Rich does! He is such a great example to me and my two boys and I could not do it without him!

Mamma Mia! Girls Weekend!

This last weekend I went on a much needed girls weekend with My sister in-laws and Mother in-law. We all left Friday and Stopped in St. George for some shopping at the outlets, then we headed our way to Las Vegas! We stayed at the Silverton where there was Very yummy $5 pizza and an awesome huge fish aquarium. The whole reason for going to Vegas was to go see the musical "Mamma Mia". It was AWESOME! Saturday night we went to the musical after another full day of shopping at the Vegas outlets (yes, Rich's sisters love to shop!) We had some very eventful nights at the silverton, It is really funny to be with a bunch of moms that dont get out too much! I would expand but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! I had such a great time and am fully refreshed! Thanks for the weekend ladies!

Ward split!

I came home from a girls weekend last night to find out that our ward had been split! I just want to say to all the great families that we lost, I am so sad! I know its not like they moved away, but still it will be so sad not to see you on sundays! We will miss you ! Graydins Art Work!

Tonight I was out in the front yard talking to a neighbor that has moved away that I havent seen in a while. Trevin had gone inside to go play down stairs and Graydin had followed him. I came in and found My barely 13 month old Graydin with a black marker in his hand and marker all over his shirt. I thought dang it Graydin how did you find that marker. A little later I went to lock the front door and noticed that my China Hutch, and both white couches in my formal living room has art work as well. The Art work on the China Hutch looked a little high so I measured Graydin to the markings. Yep just perfect!

In almost 4 years of Trevins life he has never drawn on anything he wasnt supposed to. Graydin seems to amaze us every day at how crazy and busy he is. This is really new to us as parents because Trevin has always been just the opposite.

I thought I was being such a good mom today. I fed them breakfast, lunch, and made them a good dinner(opposed to usually eating out!) Played outside, went for a walk, and watched a movie with them. I thought I was doing so good! Oh well at least it gives me something to blog about!

I must say 1 more thing! Those of you who are stay at home moms are amazing! With my studio I am working at least four days a week and Rich takes over and is super mom! I have never met a man that does as much mommy stuff and Daddy stuff as Rich does he is truly amazing and so is everyone else who are stay home moms!

p.s. does anyone know how to get the dry erase marker out of the couch? I have tried everything!

Trevins 1st Dentist Visit!

Trevin had a his first Dentist Visit today. Ya I know he is almost 4 and I should have done it a long time ago! The matter of fact is that I HATE going to the dentist myself. I hate the smell, I hate teeth, I just hate everything about it! I have also heard such horror stories from my sister-in-laws and friend about their kids going to the dentist and just freaking out. So, I just have been putting it off for a very long time. Well one of my students and friends, dad and husband is a pediatric dentist in Lehi, Hans Peterson. He is a real nice guy and great dentist so I thought if anyone is good enough he is. So I made Rich take him in for his appt. We are happy to report he has NO cavities and he was so good and did everything the doctor asked! He was so excited to show me the prize and toothbrush he got from the dentist! It's really bad when it takes 3 yr old to show me, hey mom the dentist isn't that bad!

The Happiest Place On Earth! Family Vacation 08' # 4

This Past Weekend Rich's work sent us to Florida as a Thank You for working for them for 5yrs! They paid for our airfare, Hotel on the beach, transportation, and food! We had a blast! We actually had to pay for Trevins airfare. It was supposed to be for just the 2 of us, but since we went on a cruise in August we decided to take the whole family. Yes, we are still glad we made that decision. We had a lot of fun!
Our hotel was right on Clearwater beach and it was so warm and powder sand! It also had a little playground that the kids loved.
We left on Thursday and Trevin was over excited to fly on the airplane. Friday we just played on the beach and then that night Rich and I had to go to the award banquet. We had called a bishop down in florida prior and had a member watch the kids for a few hours. They were super nice!(I know some of you may think that is crazy) Trev wasnt feeling that good that night, I think from all of the excitement the day before and the anticipation of Disney World. Saturday, We spent the day at Disney World! It was so much fun. Everyone told me it was just like Disneyland but I wanted to see for myself. Trevin made us go on every ride before we could leave that day!(of course that he could ride). I do agree Disneyland is better! Sunday we boarded the plane and came home!

This is so funny! We had to pack everything from the airport to the parking lot. Rich decided to only bring the single stroller so it was quite the scene getting to the lot. Graydin fell asleep as soon as we landed. Of course he was wide awake the whole 4 hours in air. Trev had just woken up but too tired to walk. Trevin is in the stroller with both carseats on top. He thought it was funny!

Circus Disappointment!

Rich bought tickets to the Big circus that was in the energy Solution arena last week! He actually bought them about a month ago and Trevin had been talking about it all the time. Last year I had just had a baby so Trevin went to the circus with his dad, cousins, and grandma. They came back and told me what a great time they had and such. Needless to say I was so excited to take Trev and see his excitement. Well we got there an hour early for the pre show so that he could go down on the floor and see some animals and clowns. About 6:45 we had to go back to our seats so that the show could start at 7. About 6:55 Trevin fell asleep. Yep thats right, he slept the whole darn show. UGGG! I tried to just enjoy the circus myself but of course all of you that have kids, know there is nothing like seeing the excitement in your kids eyes. Sorry we dont have pics, we forgot the camera.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I am on a natural High! Thanks to my wonderful sister Candice for taking me to "So You Think You Can Dance"!!! Oh Ya Thanks to her Boyfriend Zach as well for not being able to go.
As you all know I am a Dance Fanatic, and I love reality TV. Put the two together and I am in heaven! Let me Take you on a Journey through the Season 4 of "So You think you can dance".
It all started last spring when Candice and I decided we would go to the Auditions of "sytycd" in Salt Lake City.(No we didnt audition, we just watched the Auditions). We stayed all day and watched amazing dancing, we were there a lot longer than expected and I got a parking ticket that ended up costing me about $50. Then we watched the whole season in awe, Rooting for Joshua! (Of course after the Utah people got kicked off). We ended our whole Journey last night at the E Center watching some of the best dances ever. Of course after eating at greek slovaki(yum!).
It was the best ever nearly 3 hours of dancing. Of course the majority of my favorite dances were danced by Wil or Joshua and choreographed by Mia Michaels. AMAZING! I recorded a few of the dances that I love. I almost cried I loved it so much! So please enjoy my footage that I so sneakingly took trying not to get caught by security! Oh ya the seats were so close. Did I mention it was awesome?

Graydin's 1st Birthday Party!

Today we celebrated Graydins 1st birthday with the Parker's. We had a combined party with his cousin Carson who is 2 weeks younger. We had pizza, cake, ice cream, pinata, and thanks to the Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins we had presents! I do agree it is a bit much for a 1 yr old, but Trevin and mommy sure had fun! I have 8 other siblings. When you add in spouses, and about 24 or 25 or something nieces and nephews things get pretty crazy and chaotic. But, it sure is fun to get together and we sure do appreciate the love and support our family gives us! Thanks to the Baima's for sharing the responsibility of a childs 1st birthday party and Happy Birthday to Carson next week!

It's my party I can cry if I want to! oops! I accidentally flicked Graydin with the elastic when I put his party hat on. What a great way to ruin the moment.

I cant believe my little baby is 1! Although it doesnt really seem like he has really been a baby most of his first year. He grew up so fast! I cant believe a year ago I still had dance in my basement, We were about to move into the new studio, Trevin was only 2 and as helpful as can be, Rich was trying to keep me calm and I was as huge as can be anticipating our little baby boy!

Rich and I had decided to try for another baby when trevin was 2. Trevin was about as perfect as they come and we thought hey if kids are this easy we should have 10! So we started trying for our 2nd child. We knew it would take a while because we tried a very long time with Trevin, we were married 6 years. It did take long but not as long as it took to have Trevin. My Grandpa died the day after christmas and it was then I had a feeling that My Grandpa would help get a baby sent down to us. I was right!

I was supposed to be induced on the 14th of September but the hospital said they were full. I was very frustrated and dissapointed so I called my Doctor and she stripped my membranes. The next morning I had a few contractions and when the hospital hadn't called me to come in I decided to go in on my own. Although my contractions werent bad I had had it. I went in and told them I was not leaving til my baby was out. About 6 hours later I had my little Graydin. Rich came up with the name while we were at the hospital. We Were actually thinking of Alex or Cooper.

Graydin has been so much fun although completely opposite of Trevin down to the T. Different hair, skin, and eye color. Different tempers, body type and personality, completely different in every possible way. We have now decides 3 or 4 children are more than enough. Our world has turned completely around with our 2nd child and we wouldnt have it any other way! Graydin has brought us so much joy. It seems that Trevin was such a baby for so long(Barely starting to crawl at 1yr) But Graydin already acts so big and can even ride the wiggle car by himself.

Our boys mean the world to us and we look forward to many sports events and bumps and bruises. Maybe one day(not any time soon) I can get a little girl so that I am not so out numbered, but if not I am the luckiest women alive with my 2 boys and wonderful husband!

Nothing is more heart wrenching than your own child getting hurt. The other day Rich (Mr. Mom) was making dinner for the kids while I was at work. He was boiling Potatoes on the stove and Trevin kept getting close wanting to help. Rich told him Trev its hot don't touch. Of course Trevin touched the very hot pot and burned 2 of his fingers very badly. They had both blistered immedately and Trevin had popped them. He was saying its ok daddy their not bleeding, their not red they are white. Rich put some bandaids on them. Both fingers grew blisters again covering the whole top of his finger. Later that night he started to feel the pain it was so sad. When we were at the Fair one of the bandaids fell off and the blister popped and that worried Trevin because now it was no longer white it was red.

Utah State Fair

We made our yearly visit to the Utah State Fair . It is fun to see how much the boys grow and react each year.(of course this is Graydins first year I was 9 months prego last year!)Trevin seemed so much older. His favorite things to do were go down the big Yellow Slide (family tradition), See the Animals (As he was singing stinky cows, stinky cows the whole time), participate at little hands on the farm, and oddly but surely sit on a four wheeler. He kept making me go back to where they were selling 4 wheelers and would pretend he was driving them and made me sit on the back, finally he told me to get off because he wanted to drive them by his self. He then told me mom we better get some gas in this so I can go fast. We had a hard time getting him off because he wanted us to buy one. Rich and I told him he better ask Santa Clause for one. Uhhh? Was that a very smart thing to say? Anyway, it got him off.

A whole lot of 1st!

These past few weeks have been a whole lot of first for our little graydin! We didnt know what was going to come first his first tooth, first steps, or first birthday!
Graydin went to the lagoon for the first time, went to his first movie, went to his first college football game, had cows milk for the first time, and went to his first fair.
Are you still wondering what came first between his tooth, steps, or birthday? Well since his birthday isn't til the 15th. It was his first steps. He took his first steps at my Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Delos' house last sunday. He hasn't taken very many since but he is getting good at standing without holding on.
On Friday hours after he sat through his first movie (literally sat. Give the kid food in each hand and he is great!) I discovered his first tooth. I was so impressed! I really thought we would see his first birthday before we saw his first tooth, but as always Graydin likes to surprise me. My baby will be turning 1 next week and I cant believe how fast he has grown up. This time in Trevins life, he was barely learning how to crawl.

Dance is back in session!

After a short, full of adventure, and fun summer, Dance is back in session! We just had our first week of fall session and it went awesome! We have a lot of new wonderful students along with our many faithful students that have been with us for years! It is so exciting to start working with the kids after not seeing them for a few month and be reminded of how talented these young kids are! This year is going to be a crazy year for competition season for we now have 12 competition teams from the ages of 5-17. It is crazy how hard you work for a few competitions and then you have to start all over again for the next year. It is so worth it when you see the smiles on the girls faces when they have a great performance. It is also so awesome to see all of their will and determination to be the best out there! Last year we had an amazing season with 15 overall team placement and 2 overall high points. It will be hard to beat this year, but the girls have already told me this will be the best year yet!
I also started a free Adult class with a group of friends in my area. Let me tell you I was impressed! I had no idea these ladies could move it like that! They were awesome it is a weekly class on saturday at 8 am if anyone else wants to come! It was so much fun but, I must say I can hardly move I am so sore. I hope everybody else feels the same!
I never imagined in a million years that my love and passion for dance would bring me to the point I am at now. I have so blesses to have so many wonderful friends from the studio that help me and are so much fun. Of course I couldnt do it without my wonderful teachers and the support of my family too!

First Day of Preschool!

Today was Trevins first day of Preschool. We went to a open house last week where you see the preschool and meet the teacher and stuff. Trevin cried when we left and has been asking constantly if he can go back to school. I finally told him the school is closed it wont open til next week. So, this morning I was laying by Trevin when he first opened his little eyes and I said quietly,"Trevin you have school today." He popped right up as tall as he could and said, "mom the school is open?" I told him it was and he said "come on mom get out of bed its not night time anymore, its morning and I have to get ready for school, yes!" He then ran in to where Rich was excitedly and told him that he had to go to school but Graydin has to stay home!
My little Trev is getting so big, I cant even believe it. He went to his first day of Tumbling yesterday and just wants to do everything big kids do!
The other day Rich and Trevin were watching Football together and I had to go to the dance studio and I told them bye and he asked where I was going. I told him to the dance studio and he said dance is dumb, baseballs cool huh dad! Rich just beamed he was so happy to hear him say that!
I am so proud of him for always just being a good nice boy. I hope he is always like this!

Now that dance is back in session and I teach 4 days a week, Graydin and Trevin spend a lot of quality time with their dad. Trevin loves to rough house with Rich. Graydin, well as long as he is outside and has food in his hand he is as happy as can be!

Kim and Travis invited us to Lagoon for Travis' work Lagoon Day. It was a blast! Trevin had the best time riding all the rides with his cousin Makaylee. He was so brave. Nothing tells you your a parent other than wanting to watch your kids go on the kiddie ride rather than going on your own rides! Another funny thing is when Trevin and I went on a ride together, Rich decided him and Graydin were going to stay off. As soon as we got on the ride Graydin Exploded all over and poor Rich had to go do Maintainance control! What a good Dad!

In Cozumel there were little mexican shops right on the beach. We took advantage and bought the boys some souvenirs. The water there was so clear and beautiful and it was hotter than snot.

Rich and I went on a cruise 8/8/09 to the florida keys and Cozumel Mexico. It was fun to soak up the sun. We went parasailing iat Key West and Snorkeling in Cozumel. I love the water and the sun!!! Oh and rich looked real HOT on the formal night of the cruise.

Yeah! I finally found my pictures from our trip to Washington. We drove through Portland and went to some waterfalls. We stopped in seattle for a mariners game of course. Our Final destination was Anacortes at my Grandpa Ginnetts House. We had a Parker family reunion. My parents paid for hotel rooms for everyone and we had a great time with the family. We went to the town parade and fireworks on the 4th of July.

The first of August we went to visit Brian and Jodi at the Red Hills Ranch in Jackson, Wyoming. We had so much fun and the boys loved it we went down the alpine slide, white water rafting, Horse Riding, 4 wheeling and stayed in the cabins. The cook family and the rest of the staff were wonderful hosts.

We went Camping in July. Trevin loved playing in the dirt and Graydin loved eating the dirt. We went with 4 other families in our neighborhood. They all had these nice trailers, with bathrooms and kitchens in them. We just took a tent, and bonded with nature. They had 4 wheelers up there. Trevin loved going on the 4 wheelers.

We are truly lucky to live in such a great place, have great kids, and have such great friends and family.
We have lived in Sarat0ga Springs now for over 5 yrs and truly enjoyed it. Rich has been with his company for about 5 yrs now and has won many awards and had many opportunities. Rich is the best dad any kid could want and is mr. mom. Misty has been teaching dance for 4 yrs in the basement. We just built our very own dance studio on Redwood Road in Saratoga Springs, Ultimate Dance Etc. Ultimate Dance has won many awards this year including Mini Overall High Point team recieving the top score over 17 teams and Junior Overall High Point Team Recieving the top score over 79 other teams.
We have 2 handsome and amazing boy Trevin age 3 and Graydin who was just born in September. Trevin has started pre-school and Tumbling and is the nicest, sweetest, funniest boy ever. He calls his mom a Princess and loves to help out. Trevin also loves to play and watch any kind of ball with his dad and ride bikes. Graydin is a very bouncy bundle of Joy he is just 4 lbs less than Trevin and is already starting to crawl. He loves to eat and bug his older brother. He has big blue eyes and a smile that will melt your heart.
We love to travel as a family and have explored many different places. We just got back from washington DC and will be going to Disneyland, Washington State, Wyoming, and Florida this coming summer and fall!
